Due to the efforts of Bob and John and the Arvada Sunrise Rotary Club (founder’s of Food For Thought), a new organization has launched on the Metro State Campus: Rotoract.
Their first project kicked off on Saturday, where the group “adopted” Tiri’s garden: a beautiful, seasonal urban garden located on the corner of 15th and California. The garden is owned by Concerts for Kids, and as of Saturday the MSU Rotoract Club has taken over operations and harvesting of the garden for the benefit of Food For Thought. We are so excited about this wonderful project!
Rotoract is a “Junior” Rotary Club (ages 18-30). This is a large international service organization, and the Arvada Sunrise Rotary Club is sponsoring a new club on campus. The group will continue to support Food For Thought as well as branching out into other service projects through its membership of Metro students.
